Anupreet Singh Bachhal is an experienced Executive Director and Head of Technology for the EDM Warehouse and Reporting division of IHS Markit. With over 20 years of experience in building technology solutions for investment banking and financial services organizations, Anupreet has a proven track record in application delivery, portfolio/program management, and project management. He is a veteran in implementing agile project management models and principles for delivery and has extensive experience in cloud-based solutions, dev ops practices, and large program management. Anupreet is responsible for managing the entire global technology portfolio for reference data and oversees a global technology spend of 10+ million GBP. He has established a global fungible delivery model to support L1 requirements for Prime Collateral and Ops Technology department, encompassing 50+ products. Anupreet also strategizes and supervises unit heads who have independent responsibility for delivery of agreed outputs in their own specialized areas. Anupreet's core delivery management strengths, combined with his business management and PMO management skills, have allowed him to drive innovation and use analytical skills to identify patterns and trends in performance of KPIs. He devises plans to improve performance and has created and delivered technology radar and technical roadmaps for cloud-based solutions. Anupreet has worked for several well-known companies in the past, including Markit and RBS Markets and International Banking, where he was responsible for building the testing practice at PCOT. He holds a Master's in Computer Applications from Punjabi University and has completed additional coursework at Panjab University. Anupreet's tech stack includes expertise in test, DevOps, and QA.
